Gregorio Planchuelo is General Director of Citizen Participation at Madrid City Hall. Social entrepreneur, he has been promoting citizen participation in public decisions for sixteen years, particularly through the ILP (popular legislative initiative) reform. He participated in the creation of the 15M website “Propongo”, aimed to make decisions via Internet. Public servant, he is responsible of the legal and management aspects of the tools developed for individual and direct citizen participation, recently implemented by Madrid City Hall.
