Founder, Más Democracia.

Juan Carlos Madroñal was born in Madrid in 1966. He has a degree in Chemical Sciences from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. He founded in 2003 the association Más Democracia, dedicated to promote direct democracy in Spain. He was the representative in Spain for the european network Democracy International, where Más Democracia was a member. He was coauthor of the spanish edition of the book “Direct Democracy: facts and arguments about the introduction of initiative and referendum”. He has participated in many events about direct democracy in Europe and America.
