Sergio Amadeu da Silveira

Sergio Amadeu da Silveira is a Professor at the Federal University of ABC (UFABC). He received his PhD in Political Science from the University of São Paulo (USP) in 2005. He led the National Institute of Information Technology from 2003 to 2005, when he participated as a board member of the Internet Steering Committee in Brazil. From 2011 to 2013, has was elected to the same board. He is a known researcher of digital networks, privacy and collaborative technologies, and a free software activist.
